Fussy Cleans grew out of hands-on experience managing serviced accommodation and the cleaning and property turnarounds that came with it.
That meant making sure properties were ready on time. Coordinating cleaners. Remembering what returning guests cared about. Picking up when something had been missed. Dealing with last-minute changes. And sorting things out quickly when a clean hadn't gone as planned.
It taught us something that now shapes Fussy Cleans:
A good cleaning service isn't only about the person doing the cleaning. It's about how well the job is organised around them.
You shouldn't have to explain the same things every week.
People are particular about their homes. We understand that.
You may want certain products used on the woodwork. You might not want a particular surface touched at all. The kitchen floor may need doing a certain way. There may be rooms you care about more than others.
With regular cleaning, those details shouldn't disappear after the first visit.
We record the preferences that matter to you and brief them into future cleans, so you shouldn't have to keep repeating yourself.
A regular clean is not just a smaller deep clean.
Different jobs need different scopes.
A home being cleaned every week is one job. A property that has got away from you and needs resetting is another. An end-of-tenancy clean is different again.
Treating them all as interchangeable is how expectations get missed.
So before we quote, we work out what the property actually needs. We agree the service, make the scope clear and arrange the clean accordingly.
You know what you're booking. The cleaner knows what they're walking into.
And we don't disappear once the cleaner is booked.
Fussy Cleans isn't a directory that introduces you to somebody and leaves the rest to you.
We manage the booking and remain your point of contact.
If something needs clarifying, you come to us. If circumstances change, you come to us. And if there is a genuine problem with the clean, you don't have to work out who is responsible for dealing with it.
We do.
That's particularly important if you're busy, juggling work and home, or simply don't want to manage the cleaner as well as the cleaning.
