Descaling results depend on build-up and surface condition; permanent staining, etching and damaged grout may remain. Extractor cleaning covers the accessible external cover only; internal fans, ductwork, blockage removal and repairs are excluded.

We use cleaning methods suitable for the surface. Results depend on build-up and surface condition; permanent staining, etching and damaged grout may remain. Repairs and regrouting are excluded. Internal fan cleaning, ductwork and blockage removal are excluded.
Add-ons and exclusions
Oven and fridge/freezer interiors, inside cupboards, reachable internal windows and balconies or small outdoor areas are not included in the standard deep clean. They are assessed and priced separately, subject to suitability and availability, and included only when agreed in your written quote.
Carpets are vacuumed only. Carpet shampooing, steam cleaning, extraction and upholstery cleaning are excluded and require separate assessment, confirmed availability and a separate quote. External windows, waste removal and mould remediation are not included.

Confirm your booking
Once the scope, price, appointment and terms are agreed, we confirm your booking in writing. No deposit. Full payment is due 24 hours before arrival; bookings within 24 hours pay when booking.

We clean
The agreed scope is briefed to the cleaner in writing. Please report any visible issues within 48 hours, with photographs where reasonably possible. Fussy Cleans will assess the issue and arrange proportionate rectification where justified. This request does not affect your statutory consumer rights.

How is this different from a regular clean?
A deep clean takes longer per room and covers details routine visits usually skip: built-up grease and limescale, skirtings, door frames, radiators, reachable light fittings, and accessible areas around or behind appliances. Any movement of light, freestanding items is agreed before booking; heavy or fitted appliances are not moved or disconnected. Appliance interiors are included only where stated in the agreed quote.
Do I need to be out of the house?
No. Deep cleans are usually done in occupied homes. It helps if surfaces are reasonably clear, but we work around furniture and belongings. Any movement of light furniture is agreed before booking. Heavy furniture is not moved.
How long does it take?
A three-hour minimum applies to every cleaning job. The expected time depends on the condition, size and agreed scope. Your quote gives the expected time.
Should I tidy first?
Clearing worktops, floors and surfaces makes a real difference to how much of the time is spent cleaning rather than moving things. If you would rather we worked around it, say so and we will price accordingly.
Is one deep clean enough?
For most homes a deep clean resets things, and a regular or refresh clean keeps them there. If you would like the two combined, tell us and we will quote the deep clean and the schedule together.
